Onyx

Onyx

Onyx has been used in the construction industry since ancient times. Pure onyx is white. In general, the best onyx mines in the world is located in Iran and Italy, which those kind in Iran are superior in terms of color and diversity.

Index characteristic of onyx are as below: Solubility, hardness, porosity, texture, strength and color. The hardness of onyx is 3 to 4, but those which are made of quartz are harder than calcite onyx. The main application of this stone is in columns, decoration, stairs, floors and interior views.

Granite

Granite is an internal igneous rock which formed after the cooling of molten masses. It is mainly composed of Quartz, Alkaline Feldspar with minor amount of Mica, Amphiboles, Sericum and other minor minerals.

It has definite and uniformed granulation and its color deeply depends on its mineral and chemical structure varies from red, pink to gray, green and black. Granite has various usage in construction industry, due to its high compressive strength and abrasion resistance. It is used in outdoor spaces such as building facades, stairs, landscaping areas, outdoor flooring, kitchen counters and street paving

Marble

Marble has limestone structure and due to their specific gravity, which is heavier than limestone considered as soft stones. Based on the impurities, the color of marble varies from light colors such as white, cream and yellow to dark colors such as red and green.

Excellent susceptibility, excellent sanding, strength and beauty make it the best choice for all interior spaces such as paving, stairs and interior walls. These rocks have been weathered in the vicinity of free and humid air and overtime we will see corrosion and paleness of the rock. In general, tis stone is not a suitable potion for outdoor spaces unless the high thickness stones. Note that colored marble must not use as well.

Travertine

Travertine

Travertine is a type of porous limestone that is considered as a decorative stone. This stone is left from the mineral water sediments of caves, hot springs, seas and rivers which are seen as relatively wide areas. The specific weight of travertine is 2500kg per cubic meter. It is resistant to climate change, rain and snow and also dives in terms of color.

In nature the colors are white, cream, chocolate, red, walnut, yellow, lemon and silver. It is used both outdoors and indoors.
